Session Three Schedule
Session
One begins on
Monday, September 11 and will run on Monday, Tuesday,
and Thursday, 2:15-5 p.m.
The
Daily Schedule
- 2:15 -- The Ludlow AfterSchool Program starts at 2:15
p.m. in the school cafeteria. Students check in and hand in any notes
for early dismissal
or transportation changes. Then they have a snack and meet with two
of the staff to discuss their day and how things are going for them.
- 2:45 – Students
move to the Homework Club at the high school. Five rooms are set up,
four are for core curriculum support: mathematics,
language arts, social studies, and science. The fifth room is an enhancement
room where students go after they have finished their homework to work
on additional study and organizational skills.
- 3:45 – Students start
the activity component of the afternoon.
- 5:00 – Students head
home via school bus, pick up, or walking.

One will run for six weeks starting Monday, September 11 to Thursday,
October 26,
EXCEPT
for the week of October 16-19 for In-Service days.
Monday
- Activity Room
- Fiesta Fun
Join the fiesta! Spanish games, songs and crafts.
. . Have fun learning about different Latin American party traditions.
Do arts and crafts
including velitas (little candles), ojos de díos (God’s
eyes), piñata, Spanish valentines and more… ¡Venga
a la fiesta!
- Creative
Cooking (Limit 8 students)
Students learn to cook and create unusual foods and meals.
Tuesday
- Activity Room
- Creating
a Video for LPC-TV (Limit 8 students)
Students create a video on
a local business for viewing on LPC-TV.
- Crocheting
Students learn the basics of crocheting and create homemade crafts.
Wednesday
- No Program on Wednesdays This Session Due to the Okemo Ski Program
Thursday
- Activity Room
- Winter
Sports (Limit 8 students)
Students participate in winter sports such as snowshoeing, ice
skating and sledding.
- International
Crafts (Limit 8 students)
Students create crafts from around the world.
